Open-source foundations

LMS Development
We set up, customize and maintain learning management systems for schools, training providers and companies, using open source platforms: Moodle and Open edX.
Overview
A learning management system (LMS) is where courses, learners, assessments and certificates live. Most organizations do not need to build one from scratch, because mature open source platforms already exist. The real work is choosing the right one, installing it safely, shaping it around your courses and branding, connecting it to the tools you already use and keeping it updated. That is what our LMS development service covers. Moodle and Open edX are trademarks of their respective owners. TechBella Solutions is an independent company and is not affiliated with or endorsed by them.
We work with Moodle, a PHP-based platform, and Open edX, built with Python and Django. Our PHP and Python teams handle the custom code behind both.

What we offer

Installation, configuration, themes and custom plugins for schools, colleges and company training.
Self-managed Open edX sites with your branding, course structure and the integrations you need.
Connect your LMS to your website, payments, CRM and login system so learners use one account.
Move courses from an old system, plan upgrades to supported releases and keep the platform backed up and monitored.
Why it matters
Moodle and Open edX are widely used, so you are not locked into one vendor.
Courses, roles, reports and branding match how you teach.
Single sign-on and integrations link the platform to your other tools.
Migrations and version upgrades are planned and tested.
Process
The project moves through focused stages, supported by an AI-driven development approach for faster iteration, so requirements, code, and testing stay aligned.
We start by understanding your goals, users, and technical requirements before writing a line of code.
We map the structure, features, integrations, and data flow so the build stays predictable.
We develop the site or application in focused stages, with regular check-ins along the way.
We test, deploy, and stay available for updates, fixes, and future improvements.

FAQ
Both are open source. Moodle is a long-established platform with a very large plugin ecosystem, a good fit for schools, colleges and company training. Open edX is built for online courses delivered at larger scale, and is a good fit when you want a course-catalog style experience. We compare them against your learners, content and team before recommending one.
Not necessarily. Both platforms can be self-hosted on a server you control or run through a hosting provider. We help you choose and set up the option that fits your budget, privacy needs and the technical skills of your team.
Often yes. Course content, users and results can usually be exported and imported, although quality depends on the format of the old system. We review what you have and tell you what can be moved cleanly and what needs rebuilding.
Both platforms can work with common e-learning standards. Exact support depends on the version, the plugins installed and your content, so we confirm it for your specific courses during planning.
Our focus is the platform: setup, design, integrations and support. Your team or subject experts create the course material, and we make sure the platform presents it clearly and works reliably.
